The Behaviorist View

Pete Andersen, Ph.D.

Improve your decision-making performance by understanding 4 key points of human behavior.

Two psychological principles

1) You will choose pleasure over pain.

2) Anyone can rationalize anything to get what they want.

Two behavioral rules

1) The more you do for people the less they learn to do for

     themselves.

2) You cannot build accountability in a micromanagement

     system.

  • These 4 points are as irrefutable as gravity and Newton's Laws of Motion, but are not applied everyday by a variety of people who make the laws and news.

  • Current events will be reviewed two or more times each week from the behaviorist view that is different from the view of a licensed clinical psychologist.

  • We are a human animal with common behavioral tendencies regardless of our age, sex, sexual preference, education, social status, race, religion, politic, job title, income, net worth, or culture.

  • Once understood in the context of behavior YOU will make better decisions, and know how the decisions of others may or may not be good in the short or long term.

YOU will have the opportunity to share

Purposeful Intent is the conscious cognitive motive to satisfy a personal need or goal.

It has become the method to learn and instill instrinsic self motivation skills with The Triad Performance Improvement System.  These are the three interrelated secret skills used  by top performers to consistently improve performance in less time for any purposeful job, task, skill, or relationship.

I am an average guy who tries to do a better than average job.  I observed top performers and copied what they do.  I call this the Purposeful Intent Method.  I learned it and taught it to all of my six children who now have college degrees, and also to my swimmers.  And I can coach you, too.  Give me a call or drop me a message.
